As long time fans of the NJ cover band scene, Unoriginal saw that many bands were playing the same songs in the same way.  They decided something had to be done to shake things up. Unoriginal was conceived as a result in 2004 and from their first live show, definitely shook things up.  One year later, Unoriginal competed in a battle of the cover bands at the Junkyard in Rochelle Park beating out 15 other bands to take first place and further cemented their place on the cover scene!
 

     Unoriginal has built a steady and loyal following since then, and a mailing list comprised of over 1500 fans.  Comprised of Mike on lead vocals, Carter on Bass and vocals, Bill on Guitar and vocals, and Shaun on the drums, Unoriginal is a cover band that knows how to put on a show you won't soon forget.  An Unoriginal show can best be described as one big party; defined by crowd interaction an eclectic playlist that showcases their talent and keeps the crowd begging for more.
